Saltwick is simply perfect. Add the amazing weather we experienced and expansive facilities, we were able to relax instantly. Within a 3 mile radius you can access a large Sainsburys, Whitby and the open countryside. Add the warm welcome you associate with everything Yorkshire (shout out for Perry's Garden Centre café on the riverside) all moods are easily catered for. Kelly is a great host who has thought of everything. We will be back as soon as time allows.

What a fabulous place to stay! This was a surprise for Josh's birthday. We were all so impressed with the accommodation, decorations and nice extra touches The hot tub was a bonus. Margot the dog loved the small fence panel where she could stand and see the sheep :) We loved the peace and quiet. Whitby and other resorts close by. Salmon's Leap, over the bridge near the rail station for a drink. The Bridge in Ruswarp nearby. Thank you so much!!

This is by far the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. The garden is amazing for Bella and Lofty (Maltese and Springer). Lovely and safe and secure for them. Hot tub a real bonus.
We had a wonderful 2 weeks. Goathland café for breakfast really good (better than Sneaton castle) Mr Chips good meals. Everything you could want in a holiday home. We would love to return and could have stayed forever. Thank you x

We had the most wonderful time in this lovely house.
We've never stayed somewhere so well equipped - everything has been thought of. The garden was so lovely to spent time in, especially as the sun shone for us and the hot tub was bliss in the evenings once the children were in bed! Perry's garden Centre and café was lovely to spend a sunny morning. So much to explore close by - we will definitely return.

Great location for visiting surrounding areas either by car, bus or foot.

We have stayed in an awful lot of holiday cottages and this is by far the best we have ever stayed in! Everything is catered for, we just wish check out was a little later!

We came to Saltwick when invited by our daughter and her husband for Christmas 2023. We have never stayed away from home at Christmas before and our stay in Saltwick was astounding and this was one of the best Christmas's we ever had. Lovely house, beautifully furnished and decorated but it felt like home. Thank you for providing an excellent venue for us - so much we would love to stay again.

Fantastic house and accessories! Best we’ve stayed at. Hot tub was a treat and a giggle. Enjoyed days out in Staithes, Whitby and Saltburn. Heading to Robin Hoods Bay on our way home.

What an amazing house. You really have thought of every detail. From the cocktail shakers to the board games and then to the finishing touches in the bathrooms - truly outstanding!!
Loved the hot tub!! Beds were really comfortable, towels were fluffy and the interior design was spectacular.
Great communication with the hosts too. We will definitely be back + will be telling our friends + family to book also.

Thanks for a great stay. The house has everything you could possibly think of and we've had a great time using the hot tub and pool table.
During our stay we enjoyed beach days at Sandsend and Runswick Bay and the kids have loved crabbing at Whitby harbour. We also visited Botham's bakery a couple of times - delicious! We'd recommend the boating at Ruswarp.
We will definitely come again.

Amazing house! Beautifully decorated, everything to the highest standards, everything catered for! Loved the hot tub. Lots of amazing things to do in a very local distance.
Visited Whitby, Sandsend, went on the mini train, the boats, fed the ducks and enjoyed a lovely cake and drinks at the mini trains. Also lots of relaxing at the house. Couldn't ask for more.

Group of six. Had a fantastic time. This place has everything you need for a break. Everything is finished to an excellent standard. Its has everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The hot hub is the icing on the cake we loved it so much we've already booked for next year.

I can’t recommend this property highly enough, location, space, facilities, cleanliness and high quality furnishing - it has everything. Can’t wait to book a return visit. Every single one of our party of 7 enjoyed our stay. Really great place.

Had a fabulous weekend stay at Saltwick. The accommodation is nothing short of outstanding. Everything has been provided and there’s certainly a luxurious feel given the quality of the accommodation and furniture. The welcome pack is a really nice touch and the contents were fantastic. Great location too…we visited the local pub which was excellent and Whitby is only a short drive away. Dogs being welcome was also a huge bonus for us. I would highly recommend a stay here given our entire experience and it was great value.

Another lovely stay @Saltwick to celebrate hubbys birthday. A great day spent @ The North Yorkshire Water Park, zip wire and paddle boarding.

Just back from the most wonderful weekend in this beautiful house. Everything has been thought of! All the rooms are beautifully decorated and I could have stayed there longer! The hot tub was an absolutely bonus. I cannot recommend this holiday cottage highly enough!

Had a fantastic long weekend with a group of 5 friends at Saltwick. The house is fabulous with a large open plan space for eating, drinking, dancing followed by lounging on the super comfortable sofas! Loved the hot tub- very private and big enough to fit all 6 of us in. I have not slept so well in ages, very comfy beds and so quiet.
This house has everything you need for a relaxing stay with family or friends, all of the little touches and luxury furnishings and accessories are just lovely.
Great location near to lots of places. Really enjoyed the walk to Whitby for fish and chips. I can't recommend Saltwick highly enough and I can't wait to return! Thank you!

We had a fabulous weekend at Saltwick over the Bank Holiday. There's so many lovely places to visit within walking or short drive distance. Had fantastic meals at The Hart in Sandsend and The Plough in Sleights. The house had absolutely everything we could want and much more to make our stay so relaxing and comfortable. Recently stayed for a long weekend with my family and what a lovely home Saltwick is, it’s beautifully decorated to a high standard. We loved all the little personal touches like the welcome hamper and luxury toiletries, everything has been thought of.
The house is in a fantastic location with shops and places to eat in easy reach. We visited Whitby, Sands End, Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes which are all only a short drive away. We also went on the miniature railway which was 5 minute drive away, this was fun to do with the kids. We had an action packed few days and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’re already planning to return next year for a week 😊 If you’re looking for a lovely place to stay close to Whitby I would highly recommend Saltwick.
